Tax revenues up

The Direcci?n General de Impuestos Internos (DGII), the nation?s tax department, announced an 11.76% increase in its revenues for February 2003. The DGII had an inflow last month of RD$2.9 billion, compared to RD$2.6 billion in February 2002. Of that amount, income tax revenues rose by 15%, and the ITBIS was up 12%.
