The Dominican Drug Control Agency (DNCD) revealed yesterday that they had confiscated 243 kilos of pure cocaine in a joint operation with the Specialized Corps of Port Security (CESEP) on the docks of Haina Oriental. The drugs were found in six bundles that had 200 packages inside. The stash was found in container number CLHU-822641 that belonged to Tropicos del Caribe. The spokesperson for the DNCD, Buenaventura Bueno Torres, said that the container had been opened and that next to it there was another one that had been partially opened. The drugs were discovered by DNCD canine unit.
