Storyteller, novelist and poet, Jeanette Miller has won the 2011 National Literature Award, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Fundacion Corripio. The award comes with a RD$1 million cash prize.
She is also known as an educator, writer of essays and art critic. Her recent production is focused on research on photography in the DR and a novel, “Cuestion de piel.” In 2005, Alfaguara editorial house published her novel, “La vida es otra cosa.”
