Kenny Grullon and Carlos A. Fatule have known each other throughout their years in show business. But when their children, Javier Grullon and Karla Fatule got married the relationship inspired a play about expectations and life. The script is by Miguel Alcantara and Enrique Pintor is the director. “Emergency Grandparents” is intended to make people laugh but also think. It is about the role that we as parents have with our children, explains Fatule in an interview with Listin Diario. The play opens at the Sala Ravelo of the National Theater in Santo Domingo Thursday, 4 October through Sunday, 7 October. Showings are at 8:30pm, with the exception of Sunday when the show is at 6pm.
