Dominican desserts are being brought to center stage by the Herencia Gastronomica Dominicana reality show. There is a RD$1 million prize for the winner of the show, which is sponsored by Rica. The judges are Raudy Torres, Eugenia Rijo and Ciro Casola. There is already a pre-selection of dishes that will now be judged. They are:
