The National Choir is celebrating its 58th anniversary with a free concert this evening Thursday 16 May accompanying by the National Symphony Orchestra. Maestros Caonex Peguero and Santy Rodriguez will conduct the orchestra and choir at the performance scheduled for 8pm at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Santo Domingo. The concert is being played to mark the occasion of the Bicentenary of the Birth of Juan Pablo Duarte and is also dedicated to Dominican mothers. Stellar moments will be the participation of soprano Ana Maria Martinez, mezzo-soprano Glenmer Perez Cabral and tenor Nelson Veras Perez.
