National Free Zones Council director Luisa Fernandez says that free zone companies based in Greater Santo Domingo, Santiago, San Pedro, Punta Cana, Hato Nuevo, Navarrete and Hato Mayor have thousands of unfilled vacancies.
The posts are for industrial and mechanical engineers, technicians, operators and business managers and accountants. She said that 3,513 operators are being recruited, as well as 278 technicians and 67 managerial and accounting posts at 99 companies.
