Cocaine packed with guandules

The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) and the Dominican Postal Institute (Inposdom) reports that cocaine shipments have been detected in routine searches at the postal headquarters. The first suspicious substance turned out to be 239.27 grams of pure cocaine hidden in a can of guandules (pigeon peas) packed in a box containing documents. It was being sent to an address in Queens, New York City with a return address in Santiago. A second shipment of 630 grams of cocaine was hidden in 32 toners with a return address in Santo Domingo to an addressee in Barcelona, Spain. Both cases are being investigated by the DNCD.
