
The Embassy of Japan is helping the Dominican Rehabilitation Association (ADR) to improve its services offered in Dajabon, on the border of Haiti. Dozens of Japanese immigrants settled in Dajabón many decades ago, that has kept Dajabón in the mindset of the Japanese government.
Ambassador Hiroyuki Makiuchi said the US$88,934 donation will make it possible to increase the number of persons with disabilities served in Dajabón.
