
He is just as legendary as a baseball player as well as a manager and parent, 82-year old Felipe Rojas Alou is now promoting his new book on baseball, his life and family, “Alou: My Baseball Journey” that tells about his career since he became the first player to come directly from the Dominican Republic to the Major Leagues in 1958.
The book is co-authored by Peter Kerasotis, and published by University of Nebraska Press.
