The Palacio Consistorial, across from Columbus Park in the Colonial City, presents the exhibition of the illustrations and photographs that are part of the “Alas y Colores, Aves Endémicas de La Española” publications. The photographs of Dominican birds, in all their splendor, seeks to create awareness of the need to preserve these. The exhibition is open from 4 July 2018 until the first week of August 2018. The photographs are by Eladio Fernández, Mario Dávalos, Dax Román, Guillermo Armenteros, Rafael Arvelo and Miguel Landestoy. The illustrations are by artist Alex Warnick.
Santo Domingo Mayor David Collado was present for the opening of the exhibition that is sponsored by the Inicia initiative.
