The Las Americas Institute of Technology (ITLA) opened its Artificial Intelligence Center for training in robotics. The center is preparing programs to promote the development of intelligent systems. Rector José Armando Tavarez and vice rector Aniberky Mateo made the presentation at the university, which is located in the municipality of Boca Chica, near the Las Americas International Airport.
Rina Familia is the coordinator for the Centro de Inteligencia Artificial.
The use of artificial intelligence is gaining, with many manufacturing plants in free zones already installing it for increased profitability.
The center opens with course starting 6 July 2019.
