Former President Leonel Fernández says he will defeat the powers that be, money and arrogance and win the 6 October 2019 primary. He said he will be in the ring on 6 October to defeat his contenders. He made the remarks when campaigning in Moca, Espaillat province.
The three-time former President proposed that the province be included in the touristic corridor made up by northern provinces of Montecristi, Puerto Plata, María Trinidad Sánchez (Nagua) and Samaná. He said the province has mountains, coastline, culinary attractions to attract tourists. He said this would stimulate the consumption of the provincial farm produce.
