A National District judge has handed down three months in preventive custody to Marisol Franco, the spouse of César Emilio Peralta (aka El Abusador). The woman is held for security reasons, as she could be killed if not in jail.
Likewise, judge José Alejandro Vargas argued that the woman was not able to justify how she bought a RD$700,000 watch. Franco will carry out her sentence at Najayo Women’s prison.
In the same Cesar Emilio Peralta Drug Trafficking Operation case, Edward Montero “Zapatazo” was ordered by the judge to house arrest, plus the use of an electronic bracelet, exit impediment and periodic presentations. Rafael Reyes and Alain Gilbert Bueno, were given three months preventive custody in Najayo jail and La Victoria respectively.
