
The city government of Santo Domingo and the Ministry of Public Works have teamed up to take advantage of the lack of traffic to clean up the boulevard located on 27 de Febrero Avenue between Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln avenues. In the center of the boulevard is a metallic clock that stands tall in tribute to metalworks creative genius José Ignacio Morales (El Artistico) who died this week of coronavirus after suffering a near fatal traffic accident. The brigades were seen working on the stretch as part of citywide efforts to disinfect streets, avenues and public areas to prevent the spreading of the disease.
