The good news is that all weather forecasters indicate that Hurricane Sam is most likely to take a turn to the north and avoid the Caribbean Sea. The Dominican Republic is again spared from an intense storm this season. The season is not over, and other storms could still develop. But at least for the next week or two, the country is cleared.
