19-year old advertising student from Higuey, Yohan Amparo is the winner of the first edition of The Voice Dominicana. The reality show was telecast on Telesistema, Channel 11 and concluded this past Sunday, 31 October 2021. Amparo was a member of the Team Milly of merengue singer Milly Quezada. Amparo studies advertising at APEC University.
He won singing “Feeling Good” in English.
The singer-composer received a RD$2 million cash award and a contract with Universal Music to produce an album and video.
