The 2022-2023 Dominican Winter Professional Baseball Championship resumes play on 27 December 2022 with games scheduled at the Santo Domingo Quisqueya Ball Park, the San Pedro de Macoris Tetelo Ball Park, the Aguilas Cibaeñas Cibao ball park in Santiago and the Gigantes del Cibao ball park in San Francisco de Macoris. On Tuesday, 27 December 2022, there is action at Santo Domingo’s Estadio Quisqueya with the Tigres de Licey going against the Gigantes del Cibao. The Estrellas Orientales will be in Santiago to play the Aguilas Cibaeñas at the Estadio Cibao.
The teams will play until Friday, 30 December 2022 and then take another holiday break to return to the ball parks for the final round-robin games starting Monday, 2 January 2023.
More Major League Baseball famous Dominican players are expected to join the tournament to help their teams read the playoffs. This list already includes Vladimir Guerrrero Jr (Toronto Blue Jays) and Juan Soto (San Diego Padres) and Robinson Canó.
