The Ministry of Labor called for employers to register their employees with permanent contracts by 15 January 2023.
The government ministry is requiring employers to submit to the General Labor Agency (DGT) the Fixed Staff Form (DGT-3), in compliance with article 15 of Regulation 258-93 of the Labor Code.
In a press release, the Ministry of Labor points out that for the renewal it is essential to update the company’s data. The registration is made through the electronic address ovi.mt.gob.do
Once the information is verified at the Ministry of Labor, the company is authorized to make the corresponding payment, via electronic transaction with credit or debit card, or acquire a PIN in one of their local Ministry of Labor representations and proceed with the definitive registration.
Likewise, the Ministry reminds that to register new companies or employers, the following procedure must be followed: Enter the address https://ovi.mt.gob.do and click on the new company option to create the user. To create the user, follow the steps of the system, filling in the company’s data.
