The Central Electoral Board announces a repeat of the manual counting procedures for the general elections in 2024. Resolution 10-2023 establishes the procedures for manual voting, canvassing, digitalization, scanning and transmission of results from the polling stations for the 2024 presidential, congressional and municipal elections.
The JCE adopted the decision after sharing the proposed resolution with political organizations and following a public hearing.
Resolution 10-2023 adapts to the amendments recently made to Electoral Law 15-19.
Once the votes have been counted, the digitalization, scanning and transmission of the results will be done from each polling station in the electoral precincts.
