The Abinader administration announced that the Ministry of Education had uploaded the Single Educational Records website, where people using a QR code can verify their educational history – high school, university degrees, and technical courses from 2006-2009. The effort marks the start of the online search platform that seeks to place online all degrees issued in the Dominican Republic.
The Ministry of Superior Education (Mescyt) and technical institutes, such as INFOTEP, are uploading degrees to the same platform.
The government expects to upload degrees for more than 5 million people with accredited studies in the Dominican Republic or validated international studies.
