Procurement Agency says it will investigate Intrant tender

Lawyer Carlos Pimentel, who heads the General Public Procurement Agency, says his department will investigate the irregularities denounced in a complaint filed by businessman Carlos Ariel Zabala, who accuses the Institute of Ground Transportation (Intrant) of rigging a tender for intelligent stop lights.

Zabala of IControlt denounces complicity at the Intrant in a would-be fraudulent bidding process. Likewise, he demands an explanation as to why a contract won in 2019 worth US$23 million was annulled by the Procurement Agency.
