The Ministry of Higher Education (Mescyt) has opened the call for Dominican students with permanent residence in the Dominican Republic to apply for scholarships to study at 59 universities from 16 countries. 549 programs are available.
Mescyt Minister Franklin García Fermín explains that students must apply online from 31 January to 21 February 2024. A minimum academic index of 80 is required, as well as Dominican citizenship.
Scholarships are available for studies in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Venezuela, among other nations.
