Other benefits… Firefighters will receive a card that entitles them to discounts of 10% on supermarkets affiliated with the Dominican Federation of Merchants. The firefighters are now covered by Seguros Banreservas, the governmental insurance company, with one million in life insurance. When announcing the improvement of work conditions for the firefighters, Interior & Police Minister Jesus Vasquez Martinez said there was a historical debt to be paid off.
