The Premios Soberano, the Oscars of the Dominican entertainment industry, air on Tuesday, 12 March 2024. Those watching the night long show will come away with a thorough understanding of who’s popular and trending in the Dominican Republic in the entertainment business.
The red carpet starts at 7pm with the hosts and special guests attending in formal long gowns and tuxedos. Lizbeth Santos, Albert Mena, Jenny Blanco and Reading Pantaleón are the hosts for the red carpet.
When the actual awards show opens at the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater at 8pm, the presenters this year will be TV host Jochy Santos and actor Hony Estrella.
The producers are Alberto Zayas, for the TV version; Guillermo Cordero is the artistic director; Antonio Gonzalez as musical director and Cesar Suarez Jr as the general producer.
The Soberanos are televised by Colorvision, Channel 9 from the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater. This year, Univision will be transmitting the awards for US audiences.
