Dominicana Music Week will soon be happening at the Fray Anton de Montesinos Monument on the eastern side of the Malecon. The event is scheduled for 15 to 19 April 2024. It is organized by the Fundación Oreja Media and is in its second year.
The promoters say that Dominicana Music Week is a one-of-a-kind event that aims to inspire, educate, and connect music lovers from all walks of life. Whether you’re a musician, a passionate music listener, or a seasoned industry expert, this conference offers something for everyone.
The event is a space for those dedicated to music to connect. There will be panels, masterclasses, workshops, networking spaces, conferences and exhibitions. The event will be attended by representatives of important music industry chains such as Spotify, YouTube, Meta, Warner, Sony, Tidal, BMI, Amazon Music, Latin Grammy, Symphonic, FAMA, Sound Royalty and ASCAP, as well as the main industry agents at the national level. The intention is to present to these the Dominican musical offering and create opportunities for growth and internationalization.
