To celebrate its 50th milestone, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is offering exclusive getaways and commemorative packages for guests, hosting special events and activities throughout the year including a concert series at Altos de Chavon’s 5,000-seat amphitheater, and more.
To warm up, Casa de Campo has programmed an Oktoberfest event for Altos de Chavon village plaza on 5 October from 7 to 11pm.
Also planned is a Food and Festival gastronomy extravaganza for the weekend of 11 and 12 October throughout the Casa de Campo facilities. For this event, there will be cooking demonstrations by renowned celebrity chefs Hubert Keller, Shawn Mcclain, Scott Conant and Dominican Chef Tita, wine and spirit tastings and special dinners under the stars.
The big events start 24 October 2024, when Minitas Beach will be the center of a Live Rock‘n’ Roll Concert Party. The organizers promise a spectacular fireworks and drone show, lighting up the sky to mark the start of the anniversary weekend.
On 25 & 26 October, the 50th Anniversary Golf Celebration is planned, with guests getting the opportunity to play two world-renowned golf courses for just US$50 per round. On October 25th, the special offer will be available on Dye Fore, followed by rounds on Teeth of the Dog on October 26th, subject to available tee times. Participants will also compete for a chance to win US$50,000 for the first hole-in-one: on the par-3 12th hole at Dye Fore on the 25th and the iconic par-3 16th hole at Teeth of the Dog on the 26th, one of the most famous oceanfront holes in the world.
For the evenings of 25 and 26 October 2024, the Voices of our Generation Concert is booked. Two back-to-back concerts with leading Grammy-award winning performances will soon be announced. They remember the iconic Frank Sinatra opening concert for the 5,000-seat Altos de Chavon Amphitheater in 1982.
Casa de Campo began 50 years ago as an island retreat for the leadership of Gulf + Western Industries, the owners of Paramount Pictures. Throughout the years, the resort has served as a leader for the tourism sector in the Dominican Republic.
