Jamaica’s Cavalier FC took a 1-0 lead into the Concacaf Caribbean Cup final after beating Cibao FC of the Dominican Republic in the first leg of the two-way tie at the National Stadium in Jamaica on Tuesday, 26 November 2024.
Cavalier’s Shaquile Stein scored the only goal of the game. Shaquille Stein netted the all-important goal 20 minutes into the match, giving Cavalier the advantage heading into the return leg. Cavalier will now travel to the Dominican Republic to play the second leg game.
The game will be played on 3 December 2024 at the Cibao FC Stadium in Santiago. The winner of that game will be the Caribbean champion and representative of the region in the Concacaf Champions Cup 2025.
