Court imposes one-year of preventive custody for road rage aggressor

A simple fender-bender turned into a fisticuffs match that resulted I the death of one of the two men. Romel Roque Guillen Cabrera, a radio host, was knocked down and hit his head against the pavement, resulting in his death.

The aggressor, Evaristo Luciano Alvarez Ventura was sentenced by the Court for Permanent Attention in Santiago to one year of preventive custody on homicide charges.

The incident occurred after a small accident between two cars on a street in Villa Gonzalez in the province of Santiago. The two drivers argued, and Alvarez Ventura gave a mortal punch to the deceased, sending him to the pavement.

Prosecutors for the state called for immediate preventive custody for the assailant. This is a case where two lives were ruined over a traffic accident. Road rage might seem silly on YouTube, but in real life it can be tragic.
