The National Cattlemen’s Patronage (PNG) has announced the National Farm Fair (Feria Ganadera) will be held at the Ciudad Ganadera (Cattler City) in Santo Domingo from 21 to 30 March 2025.
The event this year hosts agro-business platforms, technology, educational settings, and entertainment for the general public. There will be exhibitions of livestock, artisanal products, fresh food sales, and more. This year, several gastronomic presentations featuring the best of Dominican agriculture prepared for the visiting public.
Last year over 100,000 persons visited the fair that takes place at the Feria Ganadera on the western side of the sea-bordering Malecon in the capital city.
During the press conference announcing the fair, Minister of Agriculture Limber Cruz Lopez and Agriculture Bank director Fernando Duran announced ample credit facilities for farmers and cattleranchers, including low-interest loans to improve their operations.
