
Lucrecia Perez from Spain is Celia Cruz, her daughter’s godmother, in the gala tribute to the legendary Cuban singer and performer at the National Theater set for Saturday, 5 July at 8:30pm.
Then as the weekend of Friday, 18 July and Saturday, 19 July, Cecilia Garcia as Dolly Levi and Carlos Fatule as Horacio Vandergelder star in the Dominican version of the Broadway musical, Hello Dolly.
The National Theater has booked several outstanding drama presentations, including The Great Depression with Elvira Taveras and Larry Lizardo from 4 to 13 July with performances at 8:30pm and 6:30pm (Sundays).
The tribute to the late merengue legend Rubby Perez and in the memory of the victims of the collapse of the roof of JetSet Club is booked for Friday, 11 July 2025.
This July, the National Theater also presents the Dominican version of the novel by Oscar Wilde, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, an adaptation by Manuel Chapuseaux on (18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 July).
Forever Tango, a night of tango dancing, will be staged on 25 July at the main hall.
