Meteorologist Jean Suriel warns of more rains for Greater Santo Domingo on Wednesday, 29 April and Thursday, 30 April 2026. Rains are also expected for the east, northeast, north, Central Mountain Range and northwest as a front system moves through. Rains will be moderate mostly from 2 to 9pm. Occasional gusty winds may accompany the rains when the passing trough interacts with the very hot air in the Caribbean Sea.
Jean Suriel alerts says that in some areas, the trough could bring hail and wind gusts as has occurred in the past.
