Jacinto Peynado says his opponents would bring chaos to the nation

Vice President Jacinto Peynado said in Santiago last Saturday, that if the PRD or PLD win the election, the country will enter a period of “chaos.” He was speaking at a gathering of thousands of Reformistas. “Of the other options, one is unstable, does not offer security and has made many high priced commitments. If he reaches power he will take the country into a chaos with capital letters, because there will be more government officers than there are positions and instead of development programs, debts and debtors will be the order of the day. This option would immerse the country in total discredit, because in addition to compromising our international obligations, it would place the nation in the hands of foreign powers.

He said the other alternative is inexperienced and bound by his party to the point where the candidate has not yet been able to choose his running mate.

He said that the PRSC is the most trustworthy choice for voters, as it is sure and mature and the country has to continue its development process in peace and harmony. He said that he is placing his capacities at the disposition of the country, not only to maintain the equilibrium among the national sectors, but also to continue pushing for its development, without altering its economic and social stability.
