Last week, Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez, advocated a government in which all political sectors of the country will participate. The leader of the Catholic Church in the country considers that in these times no organization is capable of efficient government solely by itself. He said there is a need for every able Dominican of goodwill to work for the nation’s common benefit. The Cardinal also criticized those who are bad losers and unable to consider the common good. He criticized those that if they lose an election will not accept defeat, but rather allege they lost because of fraud or cheating by others.
