The JCE will be printing a smaller ballot for the 1996 election. The ballot, unlike in the past, will only contain spaces for the parties that are participating in the election. The order in which the parties appear on the ballot is determined by the number of votes they received in the 1994 election. In the case of those that did not participate in the last election, they will be listed in the order they were recognized by the JCE. The ballot for the second round, if necessary, will be even smaller as it will only show the two contending parties which came in first and second in the first round.
