The Corporación Dominicana de Electricidad (CDE) continued to generate 1,200,000 kws, as announced by their public relations spokesman, Alberto Ramírez. He also said that the reduction in power cuts is due to the fact that the company Destec-Dominican Power Partnership, that operates the gas turbine station at Los Minas, replaced two of its units and currently provides 220,000 kws to the CDE.
