Five well-known actors have been invited to the “Cena Niebla de Paz” cigar smokers’ charity dinner at the Jaragua Hotel in Santo Domingo on 26 July. Andy Garcia, Tom Selleck, Robert Wagner, Joe Mantenga and George Hamilton are just some of the 125 guests who will pay RD$3,500 for a place at the dinner, the proceeds of which will go to a charity in Santiago. The famous Colombian chef Joaquin Algarra will prepare the food for the event, which will also include fine wines and the best cigars made in the Dominican Republic. The dinner is being organized by Hendrik Heiner, the president of the Association of Cigar Producers.
