The president of the Interamerican Bank for Development (IDB), Enrique Iglesias, feels that the Dominican Republic has huge growth possibilities for its Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and considers that the country can achieve higher expansion rates.
Although, Mr. Iglesias said, an increase in private sector investment will be necessary to accomplish this.
