San Cristobal trade and cultural fair

The San Cristóbal Chamber of Commerce is organizing its fourth commercial fair for the 4-10 November in the Auditorio Politécnico Loyola. This information was provided by Sean Ansett. He explained that there will be over 60 businesses taking part, both local and international. Cultural items and live performances will be presented nightly. Also on the program are carnival rides and the showing of a selection of animals from the Santo Domingo zoo. In addition, there will also be a local “olympics” and a literary contest concerning the constitution.

The Constitution of the Dominican Republic was signed in San Cristobal, a town only a 20 minute drive from the capital. There will also be a national congress of chambers of commerce with the participation of some bi-national chambers and CAMACOL, with its president Don Luis Sabines from Miami.
