The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) reports it impeded the shipping of cocaine to the United States hidden in artisanal mortars.
The anti-narcotics agents and prosecutors inspected the warehouse of a National District company and seized two wooden mortars that were hiding around 200 grams of cocaine.
The shipment was consigned to a resident in Belle Glade, Florida, USA. The material had been received from a person in Higuey.
