President Luis Abinader appointed Jose Ramon Holguin Brito to the position of rector of the governmental Instituto Tecnico Superior Comunitario in San Isidro, Santo Domingo province. Holguin Brito had been serving as vice minister in charge of Follow-Up and Government Coordination, a position based in the Ministry of the Presidency.
Holguin Brito is the president of St. Thomas Global Institute. He is also executive director of the Instituto de Especialidades Odontologicas, ISEO, and president of the Association of Universities (AUNA) in the Dominican Republic. He is a graduate in law and business administration.
The President named Luis Gregorio Madera Sued to replace Holguin as vice minister in charge of Follow- Up and Government Coordination at the Ministry of the Presidency.
