Need to declare assets

Licelott Marte de Barrios, president of the Chamber of Accounts, the government audit body, has handed over the list of those in public office who have not submitted their declaration of assets to the Attorney General.

Of the 1,222 names on the list there are 32 ambassadors, 37 consuls, 205 directors of municipal districts, 195 purchasing managers, 152 municipal treasurers and 11 representatives of the National Social Security Board.

In addition there are 213 members of the National Police, including Commanders and departmental, regional and central directors, 152 deputy mayors, and 146 members of the Metropolitan Transport Authority (AMET).
