El Caribe reports that the New York Daily News today carries a story revealing US security forces reports that Iraqis that supposedly arrived in the Dominican Republic this month had crossed into Haiti where they obtained fake passports for travel to the US. President Hip?lito Mej?a has accepted an invitation from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to travel to Israel in September, according to a note in El Caribe newspaper, which says that the President will visit agricultural projects there. Mej?a may also make an official stop in Madrid, Spain en route to Israel.
