Cesar Sanchez, administrator of the Corporacion Dominicana de Empresas Estatales Electricas (CDEEE), believes that sending the Seaboard power barges to Samana would resolve the North Coast shortfall. He said the barges located in the Ozama River in Santo Domingo could generate 112 megawatts.
