The Ministry of Public Works announced it will build pedestrian crossways over 27 de Febrero Expressway (between Núñez de Cáceres and Dr. Defilló) and John F. Kennedy Expressway (in front of Leche Rica). Several persons have died when attempting to cross the dangerous avenues.

Transit of ships will be banned during daylight hours as of the opening of a floating bridge across Ozama River.
