Authorities banned fishing at Rincon Dam after hundreds of trout appeared dead floating on the surface waters of the dam. The situation affects several families that live off fishing. The same situation occurred recently at Hatillo Dam in Cotuí. Other species are not affected. The Ministry of Environment is investigating the matter.
