No arrests for AMET

Attorney General Victor Cespedes said yesterday that agents of the Metropolitan Transport Authority (AMET) are not legally able to make arrests for traffic law violations. AMET agents are neither allowed to confiscate drivers licenses, a common practice. To avoid this, drivers can carry copies of their license to deliver upon request by the agent.
