The Tax Department (DGII) collected RD$40.1 million after 29,215 citizens purchased the “marbete” or license sticker. The DGII collected RD$4,288,200 million online, while the remaining RD$35,794,800 was paid at DGII offices and bank offices offering the renewal service.
