5.27% inflation through November

Inflation in November was up 0.31%, bringing accumulated inflation this year to 5.27%. The Central Bank says that the country is likely to meet the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast for year’s end inflation to fall between 6-7%.

Engineer Emilio Hernandez, who worked as a supervisor at the casino at the Jaragua Renaissance Hotel in Santo Domingo, was murdered at 6:40am yesterday at his home in Altos de Las Praderas.
