A 27-year old woman, Yamilis Centeno Rivera was tracked down and seized by authorities in the Dominican Republic over the weekend after more than six years on the run. Two Spaniards, David Sanchez Herrera and Alvaro Cruz Andujar, were arrested at Punta Cana airport on Sunday 26 August, carrying ten packets of cocaine in their luggage while boarding a flight to Madrid. Four Colombians who were arrested on 20 August on the high seas and 1,000 packs of cocaine seized were flown to San Juan, Puerto Rico on board a plane sent by the US Anti-Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to pick them up at the San Isidro Air Base. The Colombians will be tried in Puerto Rico.
